Customize your home page

Friday, July 17th, 2026·3 min read·Updated Jul 17, 2026

Why customize? Every agent uses Anymelk differently. A listing specialist may want Properties and Requests at the top; a team lead may prioritize Members and Approvals . Customizing the home page keeps your most important numbers and shortcuts within one click. Your preferences are saved to your account and follow you across devices. They apply to you only, not to the whole team. Opening the customize dialog On the team home page, click Customize (gear icon) near the widget grid. This opens the customize home page dialog with two sections: 1. Widgets — show, hide, and reorder summary cards 2. Quick links — pin sidebar destinations to the home page Changes save when you confirm. You can reopen the dialog anytime to adjust. Reordering widgets In the widgets section, each card represents a home widget such as Properties, Customers, or Reminders. Use the up and down arrows to move a widget earlier or later in the grid On supported browsers you can also drag widgets using the grip handle The order here matches the order on your home page. Put the numbers you check every morning at the top. Hiding widgets Toggle the visibility checkbox next to a widget to hide it from the home grid. Hidden widgets are not deleted — counts still exist in the areas themselves — they simply stop cluttering your home page. Examples of widgets you might hide: Roles if you are not involved in permission management Tasks if your team uses an external project tool Pending invoices if billing is handled by the office manager You can restore hidden widgets anytime from the same dialog. Pinning navigation links The quick links section lists pages you can reach from the sidebar. Pin a link to keep it on the home page above the fold. Pinned links appear first, before automatic suggestions. Good candidates: Add listing flow (via the properties list) Approvals queue for managers Reminders calendar for agents who live by follow-up dates Unpin a link when you no longer need fast access. The page remains in the sidebar. Setup checklist completion If your team shows the setup checklist , opening the customize dialog once marks the “customize home page” step complete — even if you only review options without saving. This helps new members discover the feature. Tips Start minimal — hide widgets until you miss them, then bring them back Pin sparingly — three to five quick links is easier to scan than a dozen Revisit after a month — your routine may shift as you learn the app Combine with tours — after customizing, run area-specific tours from the help menu to learn pages you pinned Team leads cannot force a layout on individual agents. If your team needs shared habits (for example, always checking approvals first), talk about it as team practice rather than a system setting.
